Library to Extend
Closing for July 4th Holiday
Fond du
Lac
Public Library will be closed Thursday
July 2 through Sunday, July 5 for the Independence Day holiday. July 2 is one of three days of unpaid
leave all staff are being asked to take in order to compensate for loss of
revenue in 2009. The other two days are
Friday, September 4 and Thursday, December 31.
The days of unpaid leave
were scheduled holiday weekends in part to lessen the impact of loss of service
to the public. The Main Library, Festival Branch, and Bookmobile will all be
closed these days. Book drops at the Main Library will remain open, though no
material will become due on days the library is
closed.
